Trip Leaders
Every Wander Wisconsin trip is led by two experienced leaders.
The purpose of Wander Wisconsin is to foster personal growth
through unique adventures and camping experiences for youth.
Our goal is accomplished when Trip Leaders provide a Wander
Wisconsin experience within a safe, supportive, fun and enriching
environment.
The team of Wander Wisconsin Trip Leaders is highly skilled
and committed to a meaningful camp experience for each camper.
That means that first and foremost our Trip Leaders have experience
working with school age children and middle school age youth.
Our Trip Leaders have included graduates of the National Outdoor
Leadership School, Outward Bound participants, Watertrail
Adventures paddling intructors, Wilderness First Responders,
and graduates of various environmental and experiential education
programs. Many Trip Leaders are highly skilled in one or more
areas including: mountain biking, paddling, backpacking, and
nature photography, just to name a few.
All Trip Leaders are certified in Wilderness First Aid and
CPR through the American Red Cross or other nationally recognized
agency. At least one Trip Leader on every trip is also a certified
Lifeguard.
